ulyxes is a collective of artists and yogis, not a studio with a timetable and not a fixed line-up.
Who we are
Artists and yogis in Amman who work with the body: movement, yoga, sound, voice, physical presence. Practitioners, not instructors on a timetable.
How it grows
The collective is open. Each season adds people as the community grows, so a new name arriving is the news rather than an exception.
What we make
An experience, not a class. A room is programmed, hosted and held: who is in it, what it is made of and how it ends all count as the work.
Where we meet
Art and culture spaces. Theatres, creative houses, bookshops, rooftops. Never a gym floor.
Partners
The spaces that host us. Both are cultural rooms rather than fitness ones, which is the fastest way to say what kind of evening this is.
